LINGER

by

Little Black Piano

--

Deep within the corners of my soul

Your presence is like an infection I can't let go

I built these walls up all around my heart

Locked like a secret that you can't tear apart

I pause for a moment and as hard as I can

I try to bury the past with one swipe of my hand

But still you manage to demolish these walls

Somehow you know just how to make me fall

On the edge of reason with no where left to go

I breathe, just breathe hoping you'll let me know

In front of a mirror, I'm drawn right through

Your presence still lingers, I'm addicted to you
