This poem is called Fairy Wings and I actually orignally wrote it when I was 12, I've edited and fix mistakes, so hopefully you all like. It's just a poem remembering what it was like to be a little girl in love with fairytales. The rhymes are a little strained, I do know that, but hopefully, it still sounds okay. Please review. I really would appreciate your crtique.

Fairy Wings

A little girl used to want wings like fairy princesses.
So every night she would put a pea under her seven matresses.
This tiny girl searched for frogs to kiss in the enchanted forest.
She would look all day to find that golden goose egg without a rest.
She would always wear a little red riding hood coat.
The girl wandered for hours to find that magical castle with the bluest moat.
She wanted to meet the seven dwarfs and have her mommy make her a pink gown.
So she could be the prettiest fairy princess in all of town.
This little girl would sprinkle fairy dust on herself all over.
Because she believed one day she would find that four leaf clover.
This small girl had started to grow her hair long so she could let it hang down the highest tower.
She would rub the magic lamp so she could recieve magical power.
She wanted to be a fairy princess with all her heart and might.
But morning had come and the sun had said goodbye to the night.
The little girl didn't want to wake up to reality.
She wanted to stay a fairy princess in her fantasy.
She didn't want to say goodbye to the Gingerbreadman, Jack, Goldilocks, Hansel, Gretel, and the Three Kings.
She had woken up in a melancholy state, but smiled as she found on the side of her bed, two beautiful fairy wings.
