I, Hermit

The Lord's just verdict:
Pious life free of passions,
true Heart denied growth.

Not forbidden It,
but the Omniscient shuns It --
unnatural Love.

So I will kneel down
And fly Holy up above -
God grant me repose!

Confined to Monk life
My weary soul will flourish
and I will be saved.

I, the Deviant,
I, the Fool against the Tide --
I, the Abstinent.
