The Memory.

Constant images appear in my head.
A certain photograph imprinted in my mind.
Flashbacks of the past unable to let go.
Cannot forget and impossible to leave behind.

Memories triggered when day-dreaming.
Impossible to erase the history plaguing my present.
Conversations spoken floods into my subconsciousness.
Replays in my head of the years gone by, like a movie, of every moment.

Created scenarios of what I should have said and done then.
Distinct reminisces of what I once had, once knew.
The memory forever stuck in my mind,
My first love, lost, I'll always remember you.
