My Baby Brother Bugs

My little baby brother can now see over my head.

My little baby brothers’ feet hang off his bed.

My little baby brother can cup my fist in his hand.

My little baby brother has grown into a gentleman.

My little baby brother is too big to life anymore.

My little baby brother can lift me, with one hand, right off the floor.

I can’t pin him when we wrestle, he throws me on my back.

I can’t best him on strength, he beats me like a sack!

But he’s loyal without question, my best friend to the end.

I know he’ll always stand beside me no matter what life may send.

We’ve been through hell and back together.

Stood firm through fair and stormy weather.

I’ve protected him from bullies, evil girls and Dad.

He’s laughed and screamed at me for being stupid but held me when I was sad.

He’s been my right hand man, my partner in every crime.

He’s all of that and more and always will be till the end of time…
