Parents

You’re our heroes when we’re little, we cry if you frown.

Death would be better than ever letting you down.

You can see it in our eyes when you’re cheering at our game.

You can feel it when we come running every time you call our name.

There’s five words you can say to make us ten feet tall.

Those words are simply, “I’m so proud of ya’ll!”

We know that you don’t understand when we can’t talk to you.

There’s just some secrets in our past that would break your heart in two.

We want to live our own lives but never without you.

Our biggest fear is disappointing you too.

Please just try to love us, always stand by our side.

Even when we’re “grown-ups” we still need you as our guide.

You will always be our greatest cause for joy.

We will always be Daddy’s little girl and Mommy’s little boy…

A/N: Dedicated to my parents for always being there when I needed them but still letting me make my own mistakes. If you haven’t thanked your parents in a while you should, they do more for you than you know. Anyways R/R laters!!

Sexy Sammy

Love, Luck, and Lollypops ;)
