Finding Way Home

Turned left, should have gone right.
Going down the wrong path.
Everything is dark, it's the begining of night.
I have been falling deeper into sinking sand.
Trying to crawl out of this rough patch in my life.
With no one there to lend a hand.
One step forward, one step back.
I don't want to give up.
But, I can't seem to stay on track.
Stupid decisions lead to horrible consequences.
Unable to let go of what's keeping me down.
I'm working as hard as I can to get back to my senses.
I refuse to do this all alone.
Cutting through trees to find the right trail.
I'm going to find my way home.
