Prologue
At the southern continent of the world.
There was quite a ruckus in the Diluvia Hospital, the general hospital at the capital city Erebus. A group of people, consisted two ladies, three men, one teen boy, one teen girl and one standing dragon were wandering in front of surgery room. Looks was like they were worried about something.
“Now, where’s Freya?” grunted the black haired lady, “She sure takes her times.”
“Jewel, shut up or you’ll regret it,” threatened the black dragon, “If you had your baby, you’ll regret to say that to Freya.”
“Yes, Ruu is exactly right,” added the blonde lady, “We just need to be patient…it’s her fight after all.”
“Okay, that’s one good advice, Claire.”
Jewel pouted and continued walking around the hallway. Ruu kept stood at his place ever since they decided to hang over there. Claire leaned against a pale man that was apparently her lover or something. Some minutes later, that man whispered.
“Louise’s coming.”
And true. A man with shaggy blonde hair came out of the surgery room. Everyone quickly surrounded him, looks concerned. The named Louise smiled calmly.
“Freya is fine, as do our babies,” he informed.
“Hm, wait…what? Babies?” asked a black skinned man, “Do you mean…twin?”
Louise nodded. “Cross twin. A boy and a girl.”
While everyone celebrated it, the oldest man among the group laughed all of sudden. “Man, we’re tie, Justin! You bet it’ll be a she and I bet it’ll turn out to be a she,” he declared as he clasped the tanned man’s shoulder.
“Hey!” the teen girl smacked Justin’s chest. After the man moaning hurt, she folded her arms and glared at him. “Seriously, Father! How dare you betting on Louise’s baby!”
“Yeah,” helped the teen boy, “Honestly, Uncle Justin, Uncle Rudner! Act your age! Even I and Lily didn’t play around about this crucial matter!”
“Who said it was crucial, Dan?” Louise chuckled, “Anyway…Freya and the baby will be moved to the normal asylum. Let’s get going.”
The nine headed to the ward at the west wing. Louise opened a door with the number of 1009. They were greeted by a nurse before that lady in white outfit went out of the room. There was a lady with black hair laid down on the bed, and they could saw a cradle box next to the bed. The girls approached the cradle instead of the tired lady.
“Wow, they’re so cute…” Jewel started squealing.
“Indeed! This one looks like Louise and this one looks like Freya!” added Lily.
“My, how adorable…” Claire amazed.
“Hey, you don’t care about me?” Freya frowned.
Louise chuckled and sat next to his wife. “Don’t mind them. Shouldn’t you take some more rest? You’re still tired, right?” he asked as he wept away the small sweat on her cheek.
“Um…no. I want to see them more.”
“So…who’s their name?” asked Dan, curious.
The couple turned silent and looked at each other. The pale man spoke up, “You didn’t get the name.” Louise and Freya could only smirk innocently.
“Looks like you’re right, Cedric,” Rudner shrugged and shook his head.
“Man, you should think faster! Like when I named Lily…I just look my surroundings and found that the lily on the vase is pretty cute just like her, so--”
“Louise and Freya is more a thinker than you, Father,” Lily cut her father’s lectures.
“So, what will you do now?” asked Ruu.
“I give you guys the honor to be their godparent,” Louise said with his serious smile, “It not that hard. Freya said if the babies laughed, that meant they like the names,” and he lowered his voice for the rest of the sentence, “though I wonder if they would do so.”
“Okay! I got it!” Jewel raised her hand frantically, tried to get the attention. “How about Toto and Crow?”
Everyone turned silent. “Ditch Jewel out of the conversation,” said Freya quickly.
“Hey! It’s cute!”
“Do you think our babies are pets, named like that?”
Jewel pouted and decided to sit down on the nearby chair. The discussion continued. As far, they had listed over than fifty names, yet the babies stayed silent or give their doffy expression. Rudner and Justin already gave up. Cedric decided to lean on the wall and stayed silent as usual. Claire, Dan, Lily and Ruu are the last ‘survivors’.
“Terra and Ferro?” said Ruu. The twin only blinked.
“Jack and Jill?” tested Claire.
“Kaylee and Kayla?” added Dan. The boy one laughed.
Everyone gasped. “Um…which one do you like? Kaylee?” the brunette boy repeated. The baby boy laughed again. “Oh yeah! He like it! Kaylee!”
“But the girl one still not had her name,” reminded Freya.
“Hmm…how about Lacus? Leila? Latina?” Lily tried. And the girl one giggled. Everyone smiled again. “Hey! She like it! Latina!”
“Okay, so it’s Kaylee…and Latina…” Louise kneeled down and wrote down the name on the cradle’s name board. “Congratulation, Dan, Lily. Now you’re their godparents.”
“Yaaay!” Dan and Lily did a high-five and laughed together.
“Hehe. Then I guess you’re kinda like their uncle and aunt?” Jewel giggled.
“Wow, wow, wait a minute! Was that meant I’m the grandfather?” asked Justin.
“No. There’s no way I would allow them had you as their grandfather,” replied Freya harshly.
Everyone guffawed after they saw Justin pouted.
A new heroic tale could be told…
Far off at the northern part of the world, there was lied a great mount crater, surrounded by the sea. None would ever dare to come closer or approach the crater, since they believe bloodlust monsters lurking around in that place.
And far deep in the crater was there a wide lake with clear waters. The smoke and fog around it didn’t seem affecting the water at all. And there was legend made about this lake. A tale would tell that some ancient race was born from the bubble of this lake. But since it was sounds very ridiculous, people tend to think it was just some sorts of the normal fairytales.
But that was truly happen.
Two people in black hood stood at the edge of the lake. They kept staring at the water, until a large bubble appeared on it and floated to the empty air.
“Finally,” one of them whispered, “Our effort for the whole decades waiting another Ancient to be born showed its result.”
“It’s quite large,” said the other man, “Then it must be…twin?”
“Most likely, yes.”
“Well, let’s pick them to the master now…”
Just as the first man tried to reach out for the bubble, it was shining. They were forced to cover their sight so it wouldn’t make them blind. Once the light faded away, the bubble had shrunk.
“Damn!” grunted one of them, “She’s run away!”
“She left her twin brother to us, so it’s not all waste,” replied the other.
“True. But…we must be careful about this.”
“Why?”
“If she able to run away soon after she was born, then that’s meant she had more prowess than her younger twin.”
“You’re right. But it was too late. There was no trace of her.”
“Fine. Now, let’s bring him to our master…then we’ll decide for further plans.”
A/n: Is that kinda complicated? Don’t worry. I’ll explain a lot in later chappie, like the background, the geography and what will they fight over. I’ll continue if I at least got one review. Yep, ONE review! Until then, ta-taa folks!
