Okay, I started writing it to cure Writer's Block and though I'd post it.
R/R Please

Assassin x3

One:

She fingered the cool metal hidden under the many layers of her dress before putting on the heavy burqa which completed her appearance and snuck out the door and into the busy streets of Afghanistan.

She walked the streets without an escort because the Taliban had been driven out of Afghanistan, although many women still wore the traditional clothes. She took rushed steps; her target was due in its position fairly soon.

She saw the familiar face in the crowd through the latticework of her burqa, walking towards a deserted alley.

Even Better.

She followed him discreetly; although no-one in Afghanistan would ever suspect a woman, that’s why it made such a great cover. Ignoring what was around her, she kept focused on her mission.

When she reached the safety of the dimly lit alley, she took her heavy burqa off and surveyed her surroundings. Her target had his back turned to her and in one swift movement she pinned him against the wall and grabbed the knife strapped to her thigh.

“You’re no martyr.” She hissed.

“Go to hell bitch.” The man replied darkly before she plunged the knife deep into his chest, piercing his heart.

She left him there in the alley, slumped against the wall with the knife still poking out of him and put on her burqa, walking once again into the busy streets of Afghanistan. Not turning back, if she turned back she would be reminded of the detrimental side of her job.

Two:

She caressed the curves of her M40; it was fully loaded and ready to go. Any moment now her target would walk out of the safety of the building and into the almost deserted street. She was unknown, her bullet was untraceable, she would police her brass.

Flawless.

And that’s why she was good at her job.

She lay on her stomach on the cold cement of the roof and positioned her M40. She saw her target gathering her bag and coat.

Showtime.

She followed her target’s every move through the scope of her M40, her gloved hand resting on the trigger. When she was certain that she had a clear shot, she fired and saw her target fall through the scope of her M40.

Getting up and shaking the stiffness from her body she packed her M40 away and policed the brass. After hiding her M40 away in a duffel bag, she walked to the exit and swiftly descended the stairs while putting on a pair of dark shades.

Three:

This wasn’t what she was used to. She was used to working solo, used to discretion, used to remaining anonymous. She didn’t trust anyone and that was the reason why she got so far in her line of work.

But as she sat on the back of the motorcycle that was speeding down the street, she couldn’t help but trust the man in front of her. He would keep her secret and she would keep his. That’s the way it was and the way it was going to stay.

A dark motorbike helmet with a tinted visor covered both their faces, helping them remain anonymous. In the distance she saw the familiar taxi that they had been tailing for the past ten minutes, the taxi that contained their target. She almost felt sorry for the unsuspecting taxi driver that got himself caught up in it all, almost.

When most of the traffic had dispersed, the motorbike sped up until it was alongside the taxi. She got out her concealed Jericho and fired through the window, managing to hit the target in the chest. Two more shots were fired and soon he was dead, two neat entry wounds in his forehead and one in his chest. She advanced on the terrified taxi driver, by now the car had stopped moving and was motionless on the side of the road.

Bang!

They sped off without looking back at the mess they had caused.

I would love some reviews wink wink

I also didn't give the characters names coz I wanted to keep the anonymity needed for this line of work.

Tell me what you think, no flames please.
