Sleepless Night

I'm laying in the dark
Trying to sleep,
But thoughts of you
Keep me awake.
I wish I knew
Why I haven't heard from you.
Did I do something wrong?
Or did you decide
That I was some sort of mistake?
I lay here
And fight my tears.
I stare into this darkness
Waiting for some sleep
To take me to a place
Where I'll no longer weep.
