Flying By the Sea

by Authorninjaearth & Needa S.

8-5-2008

I laid under the clouds of heaven

unaware that my watch passed the hour of seven.

I was laughing and having fun

soaring high beneath the rising sun.

I soared through the sky next to the eagle

while sharing the clouds with the spirited seagulls.

I flew to close and one pesky bird pecked me on the heel

I landed on the beach and grabbed my rod and reel.

Preparing to this bird pay with its life

I launched my rod and reel together with my knife.

The hungry fowl swallowed my makeshift sword

Then it threw me a flying silver board.

Spotting the coming waves I stationed my feet

stationed on the board, I was ready to the blue deep.

Leaping high, I sailed over the watery top

every now and then I felt my ears pop.

With chills and thrills fueling my smiles

I felt myself fly over the sea on water's high piles

I descended and glided on the high rising tide

Suddenly, I flipped and landed on my side.

The large wave shoved me back to shore

I got up, wiped my knees, and rubbed that horrible sore.

I grabbed my floating winged board and returned to the air

in the sea below, I watched as whales swam in pairs.

As I flew high above the sea, I felt as if I was super

Soaring with a higher purpose towards my future
