Sabbath Day

Hey everyone! Here is yet another story from when I went to camp. This time, my teacher led us to a church, and a painting. We had to write about the painting. Enjoy!

Today was quite a commotion. There he was, standing in the middle of a platform. Jesus Christ.

When I heard that he would be preaching like he always did, I wore my long, white dress and ran down to the field to go and worship him.

A lot of people were crowded around him, worshipping and listening to him.

He stood by his twelve disciples, looking onward at everyone.

Right now, he was preaching about how to help each other, whether it was a small problem or a big one.

Behind me, everyone gathered in a line to hear him. Everyone was dressed in their own cloaks, in different colors.

I saw a man on the ground, worshipping him. I saw a woman behind me holding up her little boy, wanting him to see Jesus, as he was all the way in the back of the line. I saw a young boy helping his frail mother. Even farther back, there were crowds of men that were talking.

People everywhere were listening to Him. They were paying attention and praying and bowing.

A minute later, I slowly knelt down in front of my Lord.

Today was perfect.

Thanks so much for reading!
