One Million Miles Tall

Kind of hard
to believe.
You’ve become
what you said you’d never be.
Change your life.
Change your face.
Add up all the time.
It was such a waste.
Don’t know when it started,
Don’t know why.
Should have found out,
But you still denied.
You’ve got these lines
To erase.
After all this time,
And we still haven’t found our place.

Do you feel a million miles tall?
So high, so far to fall.
Do you feel a million miles tall?
Because I don’t feel anything at all.

I wake up
On the floor.
You’re not here with me.
Does it matter anymore?
Not to you,
But to me it does.
Are you really all
That I ever was?
Put the gun
In my mouth.
Close your eyes,
Blow my fucking brains out.
Pretty colors
On the floor.
Is that enough for you?
Or do you still need more?

Do you feel a million miles tall?
So high so far to fall
Do you feel a million miles tall?
I hope so,
‘Cause I don’t feel anything at all.
