Spica

I reach so high
and graze the sky,
my fingers lie
just so shy
of Spica's spine!

Shine, O Lumins-
you burst bloomin.
Sun long gone,
veils undone,
pulled away
with the Day -
Helio's bright hands
tugging the bands
of light that hide you.

Confide in you,
commune and collide
with you.
That is what we do
when we view
such sweet splenderifics
and stellar terrifics
that you awe us
with in return.

Spica so subtle
don't know what'll
keep you from crossing
the great Horizon
and leaving me
Tonight.
