Forget the Poetry

I can't believe that I
Told myself that lie
Why I let myself believe
And now I fall deceived.

Rip and forget the poetry
That I wrote so dreamingly
Pretending so many things
And rushing it all in writing.

Tear and forget the poetry
That I wrote accordingly
To the treament he gave
That turned me into his slave.

Drown and forget the poetry
With my tears flowing freely
Over his deceiving actions
And the fake amount of passion.

Shred and forget the poetry
Where I called him 'my baby'
But now I will stand away
In God's arms where I can't stray

Cry over the forgotten poetry
That pretended he loved me
But now it's gone away
The love poems of yesterday.
