Saint Michael’s Academy
There is a school for a select few of students. This is a school that is not like other schools. While they still teach the basics to students; things like English, foreign languages, and math, there is a different direction that their lesson plans take. This school takes in those few students who have the ability to do something a little different for their country. While it is known to the outside world as Saint Michael’s Academy, the school of 100 stairs, or SMA, the students there call it by a different name. Spy Master Academy. At Saint Michael’s, students are taught the art of Espionage.
There are 3 specialty schools inside the academy. During a student’s first year there, they are assessed over and over to see which school they will do the best in. For the next 3 years, they spend their time learning to be masters of that particular art. In the first year, Students also form, or are formed, into groups of 3-5. Usually these groups will remain the same for the rest of their lives. These are the people they will work with, the people they will count on for their very lives. Each group consists of at least one person from each school.
First there’s the school of Intelligence. This school teaches their students how to gather Intel about wherever their mission will take place. It teaches them how to make and maintain contacts, and how to recognize the signs that their mission has been compromised and other dangers. These are the people with great social skills and amiable personalities, but who also watch everyone and everything around them. They are the best at noticing the small telltale signs that decide how to proceed with a mission.
The next school is the school of Sciences. At this school, students learn the delicate mechanics of the tools they will use. They learn how to use and build everything they might need on a mission; from miniature cameras to large scale weapons; from hidden weapons that can pass through metal detectors, to explosives. These are the people with an eye for the small details. They know how to disarm most explosive materials, and they are able to take the most useless materials and turn them into something useful.
Finally there is the school of Espionage. These are the students that actually go into the situations as the spy. They count on those in their group from the schools of Intelligence and Sciences for their backup, and to know when it’s smart to get out. This school teaches their students how to blend in to their surroundings, how to be natural in any setting. They are taught how to be socialites, merchants, beggars; and everything in between.
Every student from the schools learns techniques from the other schools. However, they only specialize in their chosen school. In their groups they learn how to work together. They create their own codes, and overall, fight to be the best.
