I Don't Blame You
They all tell you to stop smoking
Say you don't need drugs at all
But you know that's not true
That they keep you standing tall
And while you're back at home
You try to stay totally clean
But no matter how hard you try
The effects are clearly seen
You take the drugs once more
In an attempt at staying sane
You try to forget your horrid past
And try to avoid all the pain
And I don't blame you at all
For trying desperately to forget
The horrors that haunt your memory
And all that horrific regret
But you know I'll always be here
Whenever you need a friend
So please remember that
From now until the very end
