Final Lesson
Shoney was finally house broken. He is father with three males and four females. Now all of his pups need to be house broken.
Mark went back to college and got his major in business. He opened up his own art studio and sold every painting he puts into it. He also does murals in schools and small businesses to attract people.
Mark saved up enough money to propose to Charlotte and married her. They moved into a house and have two foster children now. Shoney’s pups are more than enough to keep the children happy.
I was accepted into 5 colleges, and through loans and scholarships I attend school now. I’ve found a nice church that supports my quest to truly getting to know God within the Bible. I now visit Roger in prison on a regular basis. I read him the Bible on every visit. I forgave him. Through it was hard and took some time, I forgave. Junior is still at large, but if I’d ever see him, I’d tell him that I forgive him too.
The rhinestone chain hung around my neck until God lead me into the phonebook and I found the old plantation house door… I hung it on their doorknob and stood there a second. That was where it all began… I walked back to the car. They didn’t have to bother with me. I never knew if the chain was the reason I had the illusions on my dinner plate or the fact that I just held onto that wound for a long time. I just drove.
Now I stand here before you sharing with you my testimony, so that you don’t have to make the same mistakes that I’ve made.
Why should you forgive? You’ve heard a lot of answers why you should, but how do you? It first starts by building your relationship with God. The way that I did it was by getting rid of all of the hip hop and r & b music. Though it is good, and it does comfort you through your problems, it’s only a temporary fix and sometimes you go back feeling worse than you came in.
Then, I read the Bible and started listening to purely Christian music. I started reading the first ten chapters of Exodus. That’s where God clearly shows His love for those who wish to be with Him one day. Lastly, I thought about how Jesus died on the cross.
The people hated Him. They beat Him. They spat on Him. They mocked Him… yet Jesus said to the Heavenly Father, “Forgive them for they know not what they do.” He died on the cross because He loves us, but when we sin. We’re mocking Him when we sin. We’re showing we hate Him when we sin. We’re beating Him when we sin. We’re spitting in God’s face when we sin!
God has the right to give up on us and destroy us all today!... but Jesus said, “Forgive them” Forgive us? Do we deserve it? What we did and STILL DO to Jesus is WAY BIGGER than what someone did to you. Jesus forgave us immediately. He loves us. Why can’t you love those that hurt you? You’re all made in His image, so why can’t you? Saying, “I’m human,” is not an excuse anymore. That’s a worldly excuse and the vocabulary of the antichrists. That excuse is only for those who are against what the Bible says and what Jesus taught. We are capable of more than we think. Learn more about God, and you’ll become more like Him. Do what He says, and you’ll walk towards salvation. It’s not hard to do. He that is in you is greater than those that are in the world… Remember that you’ll forgive… I promise you.
