Okayy. I know that i haven't posted anything for a pretty long time, so I decided to post this random new story. The idea came to me when i was lying in bed. When I was really little, a lot my dreams ended with my falling into a black hole. And I also got the thunderstorm idea from my freak friend monika (shadowflight73) and my other retarded friend kate (maplewing). can't you tell that I love them. hahaha. anyways, on with the chapter...

'Twas a dark and stormy night. The clouds were gray, the sky a dark blue, and the trees barely visible beneath the thick moisture of fog. Rain was beating heavily on my head, almost collapsing me to the ground, but I kept on going.

Without the slightest bit of hesitation, I headed towards the cemetery, weaving my way through each and every grave as they came alive behind me. But I didn't notice, I was too set, too determined, to find what I was looking for.

I got closer to my destination, watching for signs of danger, though I was too focused to be even the least bit scared.

Lightning flashed as I counted the seconds. One. Two. A loud boom rumbled above me, it was thunder. Two seconds, two seconds. I've learned enough in school too realize that two seconds between lightning and thunder means its two miles away. The lightning, I had a feeling it was chasing me. Somehow, I knew I wasn't just being paranoid, this was for real, and there was lightning right on my trail.

I knew what I had to do, and I had little time to do it. I ran faster, picking up the pace as the lightning got closer and closer. Now only there was only one second, one mile, between me and the lightning, but I was not troubled. I was there, but I was also out of time.

The lightning struck again, this time, hitting a gravesite, but just one grave in particular. I couldn't make out the name carved on the front of the plaque, but I knew this was the one.

As the lightning continued to strike that very spot, a crack ran through the ground, splitting the entire cemetery in two, right below my feet. An eerie screech filled the air, as the ground began to open up faster and faster, leaving me stranded in the middle. I leaped to the left, hoping to catch the ground before it fell underneath me. But I missed, only to find my hand cut on the side of the branch, leaving a trail of blood on the ground.

I began to slip, and it was at this treacherous moment, that I realized I was going to die. I didn't feel any emotion, as I already knew death around the corner for me, but I felt the need to make some sort of closure, even if I knew no one but me would ever hear. Faithfully, I whispered goodbye to my family and friends, saying I loved them as I truly did.

So I began to fall, and as I did, I saw a face, the one that haunted me every moment of my life, whether I was sleeping or awake. I had memorized its features, the cruel bloodshot red eyes, long and tangled brown hair covering the bruised forehead. Then came the broken nose, shifted a tad to the right, out of place, and the ears unnaturally long, with a lone diamond stud on the top of the left ear. And the worst part of the face was the mouth, twisted into a cruel smile, the cheekbones high and the face pale, as though it hadn't eaten for months.

And I knew what would come next, the words that this horrible monster would speak, as it always did.

"Goodbye Audrey, for now." Those were the last words I heard when the monster came closer to me, its smile somehow broader than it had been several seconds ago.

Suddenly, all I saw was black as the face of the monster and endless black hole teamed up to swallow me, and all of my memories with it.

This is it. The dream, my dream.
