Moon Dance

Murmurs from your mouth

seep into my skin.

Warmth spread,

my skin glows.

You bind me with your

promises, pink and gold wisps.

Delicate and unbreakable.

Kisses from your mouth

leave me breathless.

Tingling sensations everywhere,

light as your whispers.

We dance in the woods,

in the light of the lucent moon.

It hangs high and proud in the

dark, cloudless sky, above the trees.

Hands gently pressed against each other,

we close our eyes and listen.

Nightlife hums, buzzes and howls

all around us.

Till the day we die,

murmurs, promises,

kisses and whispers:

Never forgotten.

Earth gives birth to the sun,

and as it rises, and the moon vanishes,

our dance retreats into our hearts.
