Flabbergasted expressions surround,

A young girl’s body,

Whose soul was never found,

A delicate smile on a freshly painted face,

Laughter which so long ago filled her eyes,

Lost without a trace,

Silence written on her limp form,

Laying against the bathroom door,

Taken victim to a suicidal storm,

Her appearance was flawless down to the last stitch,

Next to an empty bottle of pills and a note,

“This is what I get for being a dumb bitch.”,

The scribbled words may have been harsh but were still true,

Because no one really cared,

Not you, Mom,

Not you, Catie,

Not you, Maureen,

And Chris,
