A/N: Hello! Just to let everyone know, this story switches point of views. I’ll let you know who is talking at the beginning of each part! Thanks! Oh, and please review!!

KRIS

I pulled into the first available parking spot, slowly opening the door as I turned the key and shut the car off. I pulled my shoulder bag on and started walking towards hell…or what some people call high school.

“Ooh, look! It’s Kristen Ellis!” A girl whispered as I walked past her, just loud enough for me to hear. “I cant believe she could return after last year!” I glanced over and saw the girl talking to her friend, flipping her long blonde hair over her shoulder. “I would have moved.”

“Then I guess it’s a good thing I’m not you.” I snapped, turning to face the girl. She paled visibly and her friend quickly stepped back. “Besides,” I said with a smirk, “running isn’t my style.”

“No, but lying is.” A new voice cut in. I knew that voice. I swallowed hard and turned to face Jess Price, the most popular girl in school. And, at one point, my best friend. She flipped her long blonde hair over her shoulder, and her dark brown eyes moved over me, like I was on display. “Well don’t you look…different.”

I fought back a cringe. Only Jess could make me feel completely inferior. “You look good, too.” I replied calmly.

Jess smirked, her eyes cold. “I didn’t say you looked good, Kris.”

Everyone around us laughed and it was the first time I realized we had gathered an audience. “Back off, Jess.” Another voice cut in coldly. Everyone looked over in shock as Brendan Michaels stepped in. Brendan was the hottest, most popular boy in school. He was also Jess’s on-again, off-again boyfriend. He was also the entire reason my entire life had changed so drastically.

“Excuse me?” Jess asked, blinking those huge eyes at him.

Brendan just rolled his own eyes in response. “Back off.” He repeated, annoyance now plain in his voice. Then he looked over at me. “Kris.”

I just glared. He wasn’t allowed to be nice to me. Not now. Not after all of this time. I nodded to him once, then turned and walked into the school, ignoring the people around me. All were whispering once again.

You might think that was rude to do to someone who had helped me, but when it came to Brendan, nothing I could do to him was worse that what he had done to me. Nothing.

When we were younger, Brendan and I were really good friends. Really, really good friends. When Freshman year started, Brendan started hanging around Jordan Price. And everyone knew that the Price kids came as a packaged deal. So, Jess Price was always there.

By Christmas break of freshman year, people had started calling us the Fabulous Four. Then I did the dumbest thing I’ve ever done. I slept with Brendan.

Flashback

“And where have you been?” I asked, hitting Brendan on the arm playfully as I walked into his house. “I haven’t seen you in forever!”

Brendan grinned sheepishly, then pushed his black hair out of his bright blue eyes. “I know. I was with Jordan.”

I rolled my eyes and stuck my bottom lip out, pouting. “Like always.”

Brendan laughed. “Ah, come here.” He said, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me into a hug.

I laughed and put my own arms around his waist. After a moment, I leaned my head against his chest. That’s when I felt it. That odd, fluttering feeling I always felt when I was around him.

He pulled away slightly, then looked into my eyes, like he was searching for something. Whatever it was, he must have found it, because the next moment, he put his hand under my chin and lifted my face slightly. Then he leaned forward.

“If you’re going to say no, this would be the time to do it.” He said softly, those blue eyes gazing down at my lips.

I didn’t say no. In fact, I didn’t say anything. I just put my hand on the back of his neck and pulled him down, pressing his lips against mine.

End of Flashback

I lost my virginity that night. I also lost my best friend. This were never right with me and Brendan after that.

After that night, I was like every other teenage girl. Thinking that that would have made us ‘together’. That we would be a couple.

How wrong I was.

The next day, the four of us decided to go to dinner and a movie. So, I got ready, then waited to announce to Jordan and Jess that something had happened and Brendan and I were now together.

But that didn’t happen. When he arrived at the theater, Brendan didn’t even look at me. Instead, he walked right past me and started laughing with Jordan over something.

He ignored me the entire night. Like I wasn’t even there. That night, I went home and cried myself to sleep.

The next day was the same thing, and the next, and the next….

Soon, I didn’t even expect him to talk to me. Or look at me.

Then, two months after “the incident”, Brendan started dating Jess. Then I started crying again.

A week after that, Jordan asked me out. I’ll admit it, at first the only reason I dated Jordan was to get back at Brendan. But then I fell for Jordan. We ended up dating for two years. Exactly two years.

On our two year anniversary, Brendan told Jordan about that night. He wasn’t happy.

Flashback

“Why didn’t you tell me?” Jordan yelled, throwing the pen I had held only a moment before. It slammed into the wall.

“It didn’t seem important!” I said, fighting back tears.

“Didn’t seem important?” He yelled glaring. “You slept with my best friend!”

“Yeah, but that was before we were even dating!” Now the tears were spilling from my eyes, making tracks on my cheeks.

“You never told me!” He snapped. “Shit, Kris! We’ve been dating for two years and only started having sex a year ago because you ‘weren’t ready’! But now I find out you sucked off Brendan freshman year!”

“It was a mistake!” I cried. “I didn’t want it to screw us up!”

There was silence for a moment, then Jordan shook his head slowly. “Well, it did.”

He turned around and walked out of my bedroom. “Jordan!” I yelled, running after him. I flew out of my front door just in time to see Jordan drive away.

But there was someone else outside. Brendan leaned against his black jeep, his arms crossed over his broad chest.

I looked at him, tears still running down my face. At first, when Brendan’s blue eyes met my green ones, I saw pity and pleading. Then, a shield appeared and he became the Brendan I had known the last two years. He smirked at me. “Oops.” He said simply. The he jumped into the jeep and drove away.

End Flashback

I snapped out of the memory, shaking my head. That was the end of my ‘prefect life.’ Once the kids at school noticed that Brendan, Jordan, and Jess were ignoring me, they ignored me, too. Soon, the only time someone talked to me was to laugh at me.

The only friend I now have is Aimee Thomas. She was that girl that took art, and was in band. She had short, choppy, black and red hair, and brown eyes. Her lip was pierced on the right side, and, I’m now sorry to say, I used to laugh at her. But, she’s the only one who stood by me after the three gods voted me off of the island. Now, she was the only friend I had. My best friend.

I was halfway to my first class of the day, computer applications, when someone grabbed my arm. I jumped in surprise, then turned around quickly…only to look at the devil himself.

“Sorry for Jess.” Brendan said quietly. “She’s just- still upset, I guess.”

I rolled my eyes, very much aware that he still had my arm in his hand. “Yeah, well, I really don’t care about Jess. And why the hell are you talking to me?”

He frowned. “You like the way things were? Fine.” He turned around, dropping my arm.

Just as soon as I continued to start walking, Brendan turned back around and stuck his foot out in front of me. I went flying and hit the ground. Hard. My books were scattered around me. I scowled and glared up at Brendan. He was looking down at me, a mask of indifference on his face. “Oops, sorry.” He walked away.

I growled, then started to retrieve my books. “Here.” A harsh voice said. I looked into the dark brown eyes of my ex-boyfriend as he pushed the books into my arms.

“Thanks.” I muttered.

He didn’t answer, just continued down the hall.
