The trees begin to shiver

Leaves dance on the wind

Twirling about

Showing their coloured dresses

Fiery reds and shocking yellows

Walk on the breeze together

Dancing together

Whispering secrets of life together

The soft green carpet of grass

Welcomes the honored guests with open arms

The earth breathes a cool air

While the dancers let go of the trees

To join their partners

The earth sets off the fireworks

Colour blankets the land

And air

One final celebration of life

Before the white blanket cover her head

For a long

Winter’s slumber
