Here! you take the arms-
And here, you take the legs-
And you take the eyes;
You take the heart and you take the mind.
Here! you take those pieces;
Scatter like the wind!
And crush what you have
Into dust and powder.
Then burn the powder in a gun
And send the shot 'round the world-
Those are your pieces to destroy,
And destroy them well!
We wouldn't want those pieces to
Put themselves back together again-
Because who wants to remember
What the person looked like whole?
Just make your hole and go to the next whole.
