Screw Guilt

When I turn sixteen you can have me (come find me)
This isn't your porch anymore.
We don't have to resist a kiss,
and then slip through the screen door.
When you're unconvinced, come find me (just trust me)
We'll study it word for word.
We'll wake up dreamless in the brightness,
and know that we are pure.
My cousin once told me, breathless, "You can't get anywhere with slant rhyme today."
I turned off the coleman and shaded my eyes.
Screw guilt, I'm on my way.
