The strumming of your guitar,

My desperation for your voice to sing along,

To rock me to sleep.

You are my life: my world,

If you leave, I won't live to see another day,

I swear it's true.

I told you I'd never fall apart,

You believed I was strong,

But I was wrong, and I have failed.

But I loved you from the start,

And that's the way it'll stay,

I fall for you over and over again.

I won't find someone like you,

Not in a lifetime,

And that's how long I want to stay with you.

Even when the night enfolds around us,

We'll remember there's tomorrow,

And let the darkness come and fade.

And when we've seen the last of our days,

It won't be the last we see each other,

For the clouds will be our new home, for the rest of eternity.
