Um, just kind of a one-shot ish type thing. It's kind of based of a true story, sadly. I haven't been doing so great on proof-reading so if there are any mistakes please tell me. Thanks so much for reading! Hope you like it... -Brittany

ps. The quotes I used were kind of vague with the amount of information I give in the oneshot. If you don't get it, I'll explain, unless you really think I should epand then I'll revise this. :

Let Me Give You Advice

Those are all very beautiful words, but actions speak louder,

in case you haven’t heard.”

-Plain White T’s

She would have freely admitted that it was her that had been placing those notes in Madison’s locker if someone had presented her with the question. It wasn’t as if she had anything to hide. She wasn’t harassing or hazing dear Madison Yarrow, but merely dropping hints of advice in her locker anonymously.

It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.”

e.e. cummings

Maybe if Maddie wasn’t such a parrot, she would think to herself, she wouldn’t be this hard to deal with. For that was true, the mimicking of every move, every action, every word, every hairstyle would have to stop. One me is quite enough.

Fashion is what you adopt when you don't know who you are.”

Quentin Crisp

All she had was a hope for Miss Yarrow that maybe she would understand what she was doing to the people that they both knew very well. Best friends were being split up involuntarily. No one could stand being around Madison for fear that she would start following them too. The people that had tried to lift her out of her unpopular state were now being pulled down headfirst so dear, kind, angelic Maddie could use them as footstools to get up to the top.

To wish you were someone else is to waste that person that you are.”

Bethany Jewett sighed slowly as she saw one of the girls she had grown close to laugh at a post it stuck to her locker and crumpled it up before reading the heartfelt words left on them. Poor Beth knew she would never get it; she would never understand. So she left.

Maybe Madison Yarrow probably should’ve taken a look at that last post it. Once her dear friend Miss Jewett (who she had grown accustomed to copying every action since the affect that Beth received was quite a positive one) leaves her raw for her to defend for herself, she might not know what to do when people sink their drama laced talons into her until she starts bleeding from the heart. If she had taken a second look, she might have gotten a fair warning and a caring goodbye.

When push comes to shove, you taste what you’re made of. You might bend till you break, cause it’s all you can take. On your knees you look up, decide you’ve had enough. You get mad, you get strong, wipe your hands, shake it off, than you stand.”
