Old woes from the past

Is there a way to be free at last?

I find my heart torn

I want all things and none

But that would mean that I never am done.

To loath and feel pity

To see smiles and feel tears

Is there a way to conquer old fears?

Sadness has taken

Away all my thought

Even though it is her that I fought.

What is going on?

Could my strong resolution

Have finally found a happy solution?

But no, it can't be

The past tells the tail

If I indulge I will ultimately fail.

Could things have changed?

Have my hopes all come been heard?

Or is my mind twisting my dreams and her word?
