The Violin Case
Deception – an opaque veil that covers the mysteries
It shimmers, deceives and manipulates
Anything could be under that veil
Remove the cover, and a violin case is there
Open it, and there in lies a gift
A dark or maybe divine gift
It could have been 1000 doves that fly beyond the stars
Symbolizing peace and tranquility
And is as calming as a summer breeze
It could have a black rose with thorns filled with poison
Just a simple prick could kill in an instant
And make you suffer a fate worse than death
If you are fortunate you will get the doves
And you would be thankful for it
And not waste its splendor – be glad you're lucky
If you are unfortunate, you will get the rose
And question why this curse was on you
When you have done nothing wrong
And though if you find the rose
It may cast upon you 100 hardships
But it's a way of the man upstairs sending his regards
He's just going to use this fall
To teach you to bring yourself up
And then you will find the doves later on
