I have seen

unequivocal color

blue.

I wish I could

envelope myself

in nothing else,

but that

flawless shade.

It would be safe

and always warm.

I must settle for

always looking

up above,

for that is where

my utopia resides,

in the utterly pure

Illinois sky.
