My pain subsides amidst a rush

Of feelings new and old

I know I should not trust again

For too easily can I be sold

I hear such hope in her words

I truly wish to know

If I can trust freely again

Or if it will only bring woe

My heart broke once and then again

From actions she did take

To trust and care for her once again

Could be the biggest mistake I will ever make
