Part V: Masters of Ethics

Part V: Masters of Ethics

I am a huge lover of animals. I have had at least thirty pets over the years. I grieved when Steve Irwin was killed by a stingray. Then I forgave the species as a whole. I love animals, but I don’t love animals. PETA is a crazy group that I believe should be silenced. Everything they say and do make me want to punch a wall.

PETA is the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Their hearts are in the right place, but unfortunately, they’re a wee bit eccentric. They are strict vegans. They refuse to eat or use any animal product. What they fail to see is that it’s the way things work. Animals eat other animals. It’s just how it works. These people insist that we think the way they do. This only leads to trouble.

They also don’t allow pets, or circuses (that makes somewhat sense). An animal on television for entertainment purposes is strictly forbidden by the group. Their protests involve the tainting of fur coats being worn by others. This is encroaching on others’ personal property. I’m pretty sure there’s something against that in the constitution.

Anyway, these people also have been linked to terrorist animal rights group such as ELF (Earth Liberation Fund). These radical groups have been arrested for fire bombing animal testing labs. Yes, animal testing is in bad taste, but fire bombs are pretty illegal in my book. PETA is totally off the hook as far as legality goes. They’re starting to recruit celebrities such as Pam Anderson and Paul McCartney. They’re brainwashing people. Soon, they will become powerful and dangerous. I don’t know how something is not being done.
