Duct tape cannot hold together pieces of a broken heart.

Sticks and stones can break my bones and tear my skin apart.

Plastic doesn't help the moon reflect or quickly spin around

But gusts of wind can lower burdens safely to the rocky ground.

Styrofoam cannot replace my beating heart, my crying eye

All the people in the world can never suck the ocean dry

Concrete cannot hold its own against a diamond, quartz, or crystal

And human souls, as such, will never fall to just a man-made pistol.

We are only temporary.

We were never necessary.
