Something random I did around Halloween three years ago. Enjoy.

Girls were disappearing from a village by the sea and no one knew why. One day, while Brook was out fishing in the bay, he spotted something in the water and went to get a better look. He found nothing, so he packed up and went home. The next day, he went again to fish and saw "the thing" again. It was closer and appeared to be a horse. He wasn't sure, so he went closer towards the sea to get a better look. He found nothing once more and went home again. The next day he went down to the bay (not to fish) and he saw it. It was indeed a larger-than-normal white horse with a wavy white mane and tail rippling down it's shoulders and backside like the waves of the sea, clearly waiting for him in front of the dock. He stood there while it stared at him, too afraid to go near it. The horse came to him and circled him a few times before nudging him towards the water. Brook looked at the horse in confusion and, mostly on impulse, touched its mane, stroking it softly. The horse nudged at his shoulder, but walked past him and jumped into the bay before he could turn around. Brook ran to the edge of the water, but couldn't see any sign of the horse besides the ripples it left behind on the surface of the water.

The next couple of days were very boring as he did not see the horse. Finally, about three days of not seeing it, he took a boat out into the bay to see if he could find it. The waves were harsh and it soon started to rain, downpour so bad it could have been a hurricane, and he fell overboard. The horse rescued him and brought him to the shore. When Brook woke up, he saw a man with white rippling hair, milky-white skin, and the bluest eyes he'd ever seen before on a person. He immediately recognized the man as the water horse.

"You saved me."

The man leaned down slowly and leaned over Brook, now on his elbows, then kissed him. It was shocking, but Brook didn't turn away. The man got up and walked to the edge of the water. When Brook stood and looked up, his eyes met with the man's. Suddenly the man jumped into the sea and disappeared under the water. Brook started after him, but saw the horse stare at him, so he nodded and the horse went out into the foggy bay until he was no longer visible.

"See you...tomorrow then."

Girls stopped disappearing. Brook visited the man everyday, sometimes with a chicken or goat head so he could eat, and the two enjoyed each other's company, until one day when the sea was calm and peaceful...

While the man ate, Brook kept his head turned. Every tearing sound made his stomach roll, so he bent his head down. A finger tapped his shoulder and he turned to meet the eyes of a goat. He jumped and looked at the man offering them, "N-no thanks...I'm fine, you go ahead." The man continued to delve into the raw meat. When he finished, he crawled over to sit next to Brook, blood still on his mouth and hands. The man sitting next to him leaned on his shoulder, nudging his neck and kissing him, leaving bloody kiss marks on his neck, shoulder, and chest, stripping him of his clothing as he moved down to his torso. Brook blushed, aroused somehow by the man's intensity and touches, even if they were a bloody mess. The man stopped at his belly and returned to Brook's lips, kissing him full on the mouth. Brook liked it, but resented the taste of blood, eventually choking on the metallic taste on his tongue and in his throat. They stopped, though neither of them really wanted to, and Brooke seperated their bodies.

Just out of curiousity, Brook asked, "Why did you save me?"

The man washed off the blood.

Finally, he spoke, his voice sounded dense, and wet, as if talking underwater, "I don't know why...but I like you. You taste good...but I don't want to eat you. I just...want to...do something with you, but I don't know what it is..."

Brook got flustered, embarrassed to no end, then made a daring move. He kissed the unnamed man, a peck on the lips, then they kissed even harder, deeper, rougher. Eventually, Brook had the man's shirt undone and was undoing his pants. The man stopped kissing him, asking, "What are you doing?" Brook, dazed a little, was too embarrassed now to face the man and ran off, buttoning his shirt as he went. The man was left, confused, and disappeared into the lake once more.

A few days time and Brook still hadn't shown up at the lake's edge, so the Kelpie went to the village in the clothes Brook brought him and searched for him. He found him and dragged him to the edge of the village before Brook struggled to be let go. The Kelpie was confused, and asked, "Why don't you visit me anymore...?"

"I can't...you're different from me...you're not human. I am..."

"Is that what's been bothering you? I'll...I'll become human for you then..."

Brook was shocked at the offer, but denied it, saying, "You shouldn't have come here...I'm not worth your time..."

"I love you."

Kelpie took the dazed boy to the lakeside and lay him down, kissing him gently, starting to undress him and pleasure his body. He pleasured him orally and then when their climax was drawing close, they paused once, breathing heavy and irratically. Brook hugged the Kelpie man, meaning he'd take "it" with pride, and they did it together... And in the process, the Kelpie became mortal for his lover, and now is named Babel.
