When the door creaks open

It was the last thing that I’d ever hear

Though I couldn’t see

I knew exactly for that fateful morning

That one rainy morning

A wish finally realized for one

To meet the most important person

Back home

Beyond this wall

Was a song that keeps one missing

And at times keeping one low

And then silent again

Until the words of God were uttered

And now it’s silent again

Beyond this place was a story

About the little one

Crying when others were mourning

Left behind when others were walking

At times bumping one another

In the middle of nowhere

It may be a small thing for one

But a big thing to some

Who knows others

Whom you have touched

Till then

When the door creaks open again
