- Angel's Wings -

Angel’s wings she wore
Shining like the noon light
Beauty she behold in her eyes
Like an ocean full of joy
Happiness built in her nature
Worry was all but unknown
But now her wings are gone
Taken away so quickly
What happened in that time
The years within the building
That turned from falling apart
To new but ever more cruel
The first blow took almost all
So innocent yet forced to die
Those two stole her wings
The line blurs and meshes
Memory seems to fail her now
After then it didn’t matter
They were all the same
Now the years are almost gone
Slipped away so quickly
Only one wish remains
That her wings will return
But now all is dark
And her wish is hopeless
Like the leaves in autumn
That fall from the trees
They die, as did her wish
As did her hope
As did her innocence
As will her life
