Selfish Sacrifice

Write with eyeliner across the mirror
Spilling secrets untold
He’d be there, you whisper
Shinning moonlight across his face
End up waiting all the way
From that day on
Buying hearts no longer apply
They’re too much to hold on to
Leaving my pieces behind as I move on
How can you expect me to forget?
No longer am I expecting
Feels like I’m still dreaming
Somewhere with you in sleep
Give the answers,
I’ve asked the question
Not complicated,
Just enough
Living through the silence of regret
I’m okay
I can still breathe
No more stolen hearts
I’m buried to far under
Digging deep for you
You never thought that I’d be the one to care
To morn, and these tears I form
Caused by the life you took away

This is more in song form... Please Review!!
