Christmas Surprise

With all these people here, this will be fun.

I smile at my own thought as I look around. With this Christmas celebration going on, no one will notice if a few people go missing. I scan the crowd for the first person on the list. After a second I spot him, he’s over by the Mayor. I concentrate on him and the Mayor’s conservation as I make my way towards them. It sounds like he’s telling the Mayor about how my family disappeared.

Oh, sure. Lie to everyone.

I hold in a growl watching him. The way he’s talking, sounds like he actually believes we disappeared.

He’ll be getting a surprise and regret what he did.

I stop walking when I get to the food tables. It’s right near them. I act like I’m looking over the selection of foods, while I’m listening to his conservation and his footsteps.

I wonder how I should get rid of him? Maybe I should get rid of him like he did with me and my family. It’s only fair. But I’m not going to turn him, I’m going to get rid of him permanently. Now how am I going to get him alone?

I frown slightly at the thought. Why hadn’t I thought that far ahead? I shook my head and turned to where he was and notice him walking away.

Time for the fun to begin.

I stood still for a couple of minutes watching him walk off. I glance around then start to follow him. As I follow behind him a bit, I hear someone mention the new snowfall. I keep walking trying to ignore all the talking. As I’m following him I’m going through different scenarios of the attack in my head. When we were finally far enough away from all the people, I was happy. I don’t want any one witnessing this.

“Hey!” I call out to him, as I stop.

He froze for a second before turning around. The look on his face when he saw me was hilarious. He looked like he saw a ghost. All the color just drained form his face. I step forward keeping my eyes locked on him. I know they probably are a brighter color than normal.

He stepped back quickly, almost tripping over his own feet. I step forward another inch as I feel the change happen. The guy’s breathing froze as he saw me change to my second form. Seeing a person change to a giant wolf must be shocking. I growl getting ready to pounce. A second after that I push off the ground attacking him.
