Empty eyes stare at

Broken skies

Shackled wrists rattle

(shiver. shake.)

Rope-bound dreams and

Barbed-wire Bliss

As gaping mouths

(shout. cry. scream.)

Plead to the Deaf Ones

On (a)High

Desperate tears pour

(flow. rush.)

As eyes fill with

(lust. fluster.) Busted hopes

Trashed on the

Concrete

For melancholy drones to

(trample. crush.)

Go on ignoring

Blind to the sorrows as the

All (un)Knowing Ones

Lonely child of

Skin and Bone, filled with

Empty stomachs and a chest of

(anger. pain. loss.)

Pills and

Emptiness

Kneels on bruised knees

(beg. grovel. plead.)

Whispered desperations

To the Gods of many faces

Hallowed be thy names
