Fair, In Love and War
They say all is fair
In love and war
But do they say it
When its knocking on their door
Leaving them fighting love's allure
Losing little by little
Every hour
Feeling helpless as love devours
So use to it tricks
And deceits
Afraid to let go and believe
In its amazing feats
Needing a stronghold
To fight something so beautiful and bold
Scared to fall back
Knowing failure's secret death awaits
The bleeding of one's heart
As each slice digs deep
Leaving no scar to see
But the pain it weeps
Rivers of blood flow free
Clear to the eye to see
But blood all the same
To the pain that sets
A losing war
A heart thats tore
But all is fair
In the things love dares
