A Broken Heart

"How could he do this?"
You wonder why,
He broke your heart,
And now all you can do is cry.

He promised you,
He said he'd never leave,
He hurt you so much,
You just couldn't believe.

All the pain he's caused,
Just makes you stare at the wall,
Now there's no one there,
Not even to catch you when you fall.

He's gone forever,
Even though he said he loved you,
But they just do this,
There's nothing you can do.

You sit there and think to the past,
You remember the times you had,
It hurts you so much,
It makes you so sad.

And when he told you things,
Things nobody else has ever said,
All you can do,
Is lay there in bed.

You lay there and think,
No more kissing,
No more cuddling,
All there is left is missing.

You would do anything,
Just to hear him say he loves you,
But now he's gone,
There's nothing you can do.
