A Story

There is a man and a woman, both are young. They love each other but they are not lovers, neither are they siblings.

There is another woman. She wishes the man dead.

There is a gunshot.

The man stands by a shattered window, weeping.

Another shot.

The man falls by the woman's side.

There is a third shot.

Outside, the revolver drops from the other woman's hand as she falls to the pavement.

There are three funerals. No one weeps.
