Randomness... I just really wanted to write a story in second person! Enjoy!

That's not your reflection in the mirror.

It looks like you, sure- but there's something evil in the eyes. If someone asked you to explain it, you probably couldn't. What you're seeing now is terrifying.

Just when you think that it's your imagination, your reflection winks at you. You're too scared to scream. You're rooted to the spot. Your mouth drops open, but your reflection's doesn't.

As you stand there, staring at your now smiling reflection, you start to notice things that might have always been there- fingernails a bit too long and sharp, teeth a bit too pointed- and suddenly a calm steals over you. You have no control over your own actions, and not sure whether you'd change it you did.

Your hand raises slowly, and for once, your reflection copies you. You start to walk slowly toward the mirror. Even though a little voice in the back of your head is screaming, "Stop! Don't go near it," the calm is much stronger, and your fingers touch the surface of the glass.

The glass is warm. This sends your little voice on a frenzy, but you smile serenely. Slowly, you look up and lock eyes with your reflection...

And you start to scream. The calm is gone, replaced by overwelming terror. You try to pull your hand away, but your reflection reachs through the mirror and grabs your wrist with super-human strength.

Outside the mirror, the hand changes, and it becmes scaly with sharp talons. Your reflection starts to step out of the mirror... and starts to pull you in. As your pulled in, you feel the changes happening. Your spine becomes bent, and you feel scales spreading on your body. It's the worst pain imaginable.

Through distorted eyes, you look up and see what you used to be in front of you. It laughs and says, in your old voice, "You're not the first, nor will you be the last. Be grateful- your a grand part of a new world." Your lips move with the ex- reflection's, but no sound comes out. Somehow, you know that it sees itself in the mirror and not the monster you've become.

You've become the reflection.

It admires itself in the mirror one last time, then walks away smiling to itself, leaving you in complete darkness until it walks by another mirror.
