I Wander Where I Will

Do you wonder where I wander?

Wonder not, I wander where I will

.

I wander without rhyme or reason

In disregard to time or season

Upon the trail a jaunty beat

Is pounded out by tireless feet

.

I wander wide to view the world

With sword a’sheathed and banner furled

To know a less-seen side of life

Tainted not by hate and strife

.

I wander up the mountains high

My laugh rings loud as I seize the sky

From there I wander down again

To pursue the trail through darkened glen

.

There is peace in far away

As darkness falls on glorious day

So come and wander forth with me

Who knows what wonders we will see?
