I’m a comet in the sky
I bring either life or destruction:
I can be friendly or I can be foe
I bring only the best and destroy the rest
And in my sea I bring a life
A simple kind of organism or a simple kind of disease
No need, no wants, no nothing, no buts
He lives to please and he pleases to eat
He eats all the things you don’t need
For superiority in the big blue ocean
An ocean of motion of life and strife
To want to win the game is my name
I’m proud and I’m sound and I’m well and I’m filled
I get my legs and I’m off to shore
I see a new world but nothing more
Same old life same old ways
Same old ecosystem and same old days
Fighting, rioting, mating, and sailing
Sailing across the hours of a life I made
I make what I want and nothing less
Evolution is the key and I’m one of its tests
A test of faith and a test of theory
I’m the man with the understand of a plan well put together
So I brace myself for the weather
I fight fierce and I eat my meals
I find another and I make a pact
We fight together and we make a sack
All for one and one for all
We take what we get for the big and the small
We’re a tribe now and doesn’t get better than that
Off to the next journey
We hunt, we grunt, we create, we mate, craft, raft, swift, and stride, come together, all in pride, all inside, one hut, many ruts, two and more, sword n sword,
We communicate, regulate, do our jobs, feed our mobs, and conquer our foes, and even dance for show
We’re a tribe of warriors, hunters and gatherers, birthing mothers; we train our young and sing our songs,
We evolve
Now on a bigger scale, we grew bigger and now,
We’re civilized, cities to the sky, we ride, and we’re filled with pride. Fallouts, shout outs, and shoot outs, music, books, oh and we have the looks, politics, stocks worth sticks, money, funnies, newspapers, prime ministers, diplomacy, a democracy, a dictatorship, graveyard shifts, oh we have it all and we’re looking good
The planet is ours and thus it should
But now
What to do?
We’re off to space, to race, to colonized galaxies far away from this place
We’re technological geniuses and we’re behind the wheels
Captaining ships beyond imaginable
We see thus far stars and systems
Systems of organisms
Just like us
Long ago
In the coming ages we’ll enter with plenty of doubt
This has been evolution’s timeline
Over and out
