Stranger

I miss the girl

I used to know

Sometimes I wonder

Where did she go

I miss the laughter

And the happy grins

Spontaneous reactions

For the moods we're in

Where did it all go

So quickly disappeared

Like rapid bursts of fireworks

Into darkness I now peer

I still miss the girl

It'll never be the same

Empty laughs, fake smiles

You'll never be her again

I can't bring you back

From wherever you have run

What can I do now

To fix whats all done

Now I can see

When I smile at you

It feels like I'm smiling

At a stranger too.
