blue hazy mondays

Blue hazy mondays filled with the
scent of oranges and tangarines
in the middle of the day when the
sun is shining through the window,
shimmering onto everything.

Rainbows paint the room,
blue, pink, yellow, green,
spread across the wall.
and everything seems wonderful
in the midst of life. The air is still, as
the dust settles, until everything crumbles
into nothing. Like yesterday never happened
and tomorrow is so far away.

But life continues to flow,
even though things might not work out
in the end.
