Advice (after rants)

although bright and shining,
seems this day.
Its death and destruction,
laced with decay.

Blaring the heat,
of a fiery sun.
Our footsteps beat,
a sullen drum.

cash and crop,
for which we yield.
when all else fails,
use plan B (steal).

Follow the heart,
but watch your time.
drink naught a drop,
of that sinful wine.

use the mind,
to judge the folly.
plant the seeds,
to grow the holly.

use your cup,
and eat your bread.
open in friendship;
your hands spread.

Follow the influence,
of what's just and true.
And it will shape,
the mortality of you.
