Kayla:

I was absolutely dumbfounded.

Bill was famous. I’m not talking bar room, garage banging famous.

I’m talking the whole she-bang. Vicious fan girls, MTV, on tour famous! I had gotten some fan girl to explain to me exactly who Tokio Hotel was. I’m not sure if I should be mad at the lion-haired guy or what…

“Bill,” I said calmly, trying not to show my anger. He walked up to me, after being mauled by those stupid fan girls, and gave me a questioning look. “I swear to you if-“

“Do you dance?” He questioned. Cutting me off in mid-sentence.

“No,” I said, crossing my arms and not allowing him to pull me to the dance floor.

“Do you want something to drink?” I could tell he was trying to avoid the subject at hand.

“Yes,” I replied just as stubbornly. I followed him to where Alyssa was. She was talking with Gustav.

“…think Monster’s better,” I heard Alliy state, staring at Gustav.

“No, Rockstar.”

“Monster.”

“Rockstar."

“Monster,” Alliy stuck her tongue out at him then turned to face Bill and I. Gustav had a defeated look on his face. “Hey guys. Bill, that was simply amazing! I had no idea y’all were that good!”

“It’s nothing,” Bill said, running a hand through his hair. “ I was just on my way to get Kayla something to drink. Did either of you want anything?”

Bill put an arm around my shoulder and started rubbing it with his thumb.

“Nah, Tom just got me something not too long ago…how about you?” I watched as Alliy turned to Gustav, placing a hand on his arm while simultaneously crossing her fishnet covered legs under the table. I saw him give her a smile.

“Ja, a simple Millers Light,” He told Bill carefully.

As Bill and I walked away I heard Alliy start a conversation about the newest Wii game. I think it was some exercise thing. But I’m not sure; I don’t keep up with things like that. It’s Alliy’s thing, not mine.

“Bill?” I asked quietly.

“Ja?” I thought he hadn’t heard me.

“I didn’t know you-“

“Shhh…It’s not a big…deal. I didn’t want du to know,” I stayed silent as he ordered Gustav’s drink and his own. “What was it you wanted?”

“Vodka strawberry daiquiri with ice,” I answered quickly.

“Alright…” He raised an eyebrow at me.

“What?”

He just shook his head. As we waited for the drinks to be made I remembered I was mad at him.

“And why did you not want me to know?” I questioned.

“Because I did not want things to be…not to my liking?”

“Different?” I offered.

“Nein…All the fan girls are nice. But they do not…know me. They only know what I want them to know.”

“Oh…that makes sense…but you know I would find out,” I pointed out. The drinks were finally done and I grabbed Gustav’s and mine, as Bill took his own.

“Ja. But I can dream, right?” He gave me a half-hearted smile.

We made it back to the table rather quickly, finding it empty. Bill looked around, as did I. I spotted them first. They were in the middle of the dance floor with a bunch of people dancing around them, watching.

I tapped Bill on his side and pointed to where I had briefly spotted our friends. Bill was suddenly pushing through the crowd at lightning speed, me in tow. When he finally made it through the many swinging bodies he came to an abrupt halt and I slammed into his side. He grunted but swung me to face Alliy. Now as far as I could tell Tom was harassing her.

I knew Alliy didn’t dance much. And when she did it sure as hell wasn’t like this. I looked at the bottle in her hand that read ‘Smirnoff’ and sighed.

“Bill, she’s drunk,” I muttered above the crowd.

“I can tell,” He had bent down towards my ear just as someone bumped into him. I almost went toppling sideways but he caught me and stood me upright again.

I looked at Alliy again. She was sandwiched between Tom, and Gustav with some brunette almost attached to Tom’s lower half. What a slut! Ew. Tom himself looked to be pretty content with the invasion. Alliy’s arms where in the air as Gustav swung back and forth, admiring the sight of her chest in his face. I couldn’t believe it! She was going to hear a mouth full when we had time alone!

When the song ended I pulled Alliy away from the crowd and eventually got her to an abandoned table and to a seat.

“What’s your problem?” I asked in her ear as Bill pried the bottle from her hand. She just gave me a weird look. “You’re drunk!”

“Am not,” She answered soberly…maybe I had been wrong? No, she wouldn’t dance like that if she had been sober…right? “What makes you thing that?” She shot a look in Tom’s direction as he came into view then to Bill then back at me. She looked to be sober…

“Well, if you’re sober then what the hell where you doing out there on the floor?!” I questioned her, trying to keep the venom out of my voice; which wasn’t working to very well.

“Dancing, duh. What else would I be doing out there?” She rolled her eyes and made an attempt to stand. I pushed her back down by the shoulder.

“How much have you had to drink?”

“Meh…3 or 4.”

I knew it took her longer then I to get drunk. I shrugged and moved out of her way. If she wanted to get wasted then who was I to stop her...oh, wait, I’d be the one having to deal with her miserable self in the morning…great! She stood and moved back into the crowd of people, stopping to giving me a backwards glance and a single wink then started off again. That was weird…she was probably going to look for Gustav.

I looked over at Tom as I moved closer to Bill.

“I’m going to get some fresh air, do you mind?” My eyes met Tom’s. I gave him a disapproving look but he simply turned his head back to the short brunette chick that had recently been attached to his groin…not literally but you get my point, right? She didn’t look like a very…good…nice…friendly person? Ah, I can’t find the right word, damnit! Lets just say she was a stupid and ugly slut. There? That sounds about right…but why would he choose her over Alliy? Unless…Alliy had already turned him down, yeah, that must’ve been it…

“Do you mind if I come along?” Bill asked above the overly loud music. I looked up at him and smiled.

“Of course not!

“Let’s be on our way then,” He gripped my hand and tugged me towards where the door must have been. I shoot one last glance at Bill’s twin and gave him a sad look and a short shake of my head when he looked at me. He gave me a confused look in return but turned back to the brunette, placing a hand on her hip and I saw him lean forward, as if to kiss her just as Bill pulled me out of view.

What was his problem? Stupid boys!

I felt Bills hand slip out of mine then slid around my waist and hoist me through the narrow door. We entered a small courtyard that wasn’t too crowded with people; at least it wasn’t back through the front entrance. I don’t know if I could deal with all those screams again. Bill placed me on a stone bench and took the small space beside me. I heard him sigh and I turned my head to find him staring at me. The sun was still in the sky but was currently hidden by a cloud. I guessed it to be about 5:00 P.M. or sometime close to it.

“What?” I asked cautiously.

“It is nothing,” He replied, still staring at me.

I met his stare. “Don’t tell me it’s nothing.”

He sighed again. I watched him open his mouth, then close it , then opened it again, and repeated. “It is nothing.”

I gave him a hard look. “No. Tell me,” I ordered.

He opened his mouth then hesitated. “You look really beautiful.”

“See? That wasn’t so hard. And thanks,” I blushed but I knew he couldn’t tell because of my skin tone.

His hand reached for mine and I allowed him to pull it into his lap.

“I really would like to kiss you at this moment.”

My eyes widened in shock. Did he really just say that?

“Uh…um…ok?” I stuttered, my heart beating faster than normal. I felt his other hand slide to my lower back and watched his face getting closer, his eyes automatically closing. I could feel his breath on my closed lips. I hope he didn’t notice my heartbeat faltering.

Suddenly his lips were moving against mine in a slow, even pace. I didn’t know what to do so I just followed his lead. This was my first time kissing something other than my hand…His lips were gone all too quickly and a small moan of disappointment left my mouth by accident.

“Wow, you suck,” He commented slowly.

“Gee, thanks.”

“No problem,” I looked at him and he gave me a cheeky smile.

I gave him a hard look and he laughed.

“You look like a chipmunk when you laugh,” I shoot back. He stopped laughing abruptly.

“That was not nice.”

“Neither is your tongue ring,” I didn’t mean that…but I was on a roll. “What would you do if the world ran out of eyeliner? Go screaming to your brother?”

He looked thoughtful for a moment. “I would probably die.”

We both began laughing hysterically, earning looks from strangers. We talked about random stuff for quite a while until Al and Gustav came barreling through the doors, yelling that it was time to be out of this stupid club.

“Man, they make quite the couple. Don’t you agree?” I asked Bill when he had pulled me to stand beside him.

“Yes. I bet they get into an argument as soon as we are in the limo.”

I raised an eyebrow at him. “About what?”

“Who gets to play Bowser.”

I couldn’t help but laugh. He was right.
