Now: Introduction

Do you know what I hate about going to parties full of people I don’t know?

Having to introduce myself. I mean, how many times do I have to say “Hi, I’m Jessica Smith. Please call me Jess.” before I go insane? I don’t know. I might as well paint in large letters on my forehead “JESSICA SMITH (CALL ME JESS)”. Wouldn’t that make things easier?

But anyway, for the sake of tradition and being polite, I shall start from the top. Ahem.

Hi! I’m Jessica Smith, aged seventeen in my senior year at Barker High School. Anybody who knows me will know to call me Jess, because there’s only two instances when I am called Jessica. One, you are really really really angry at me. Two, you’re one of my old teachers at school and must address me by my full first name for some unknown reason.

Okay, I’m done with introducing myself, yes? Oh thank the heavens. What? You still don’t have enough of my life? God, you are just so demanding.

Well, my mum’s a doctor and my dad… he’s dead. Dad died of cancer when I was seven, so it’s been ten years already; we’ve all gotten over it. I have an elder sister, Brianna, who’s taking accounting at NYU and is five years older than me.

As for my school life… let’s just say it’s very complicated. I am what people say to be “popular”. No, I’m not a cheerleader. Well, I don’t really know what happened. One day I’m your average teenager, the next I have guys chasing me and everyone wants to befriend me, Jessica Smith.

The transition was over the summer holidays when I was sixteen. Before that I had been very normal, hiding in the shadows all the time. I guess time does wonders you never imagine will ever happen, right?

“Jessicaaaaaa!” Oh my god, oh no, is that Adrian at the door? Oh my god yes. I must’ve gotten too lost trying to introduce myself to you that I didn’t see Adrian at the door. Oh, and who’s Adrian, you ask? No, Adrian’s not my boyfriend. In fact, she is my best friend. Go figure.

It's from deviantArt, and I'll be doing 100 one-shots based on the 100 themes presented to me.
This is Variation 1, so I'll try to update this as often as possible which is possibly everyday since I need breaks from writing TPL/TWTA/GPB chapters, haha.

Do take note that while this is going to be a 100 one-shots, it's all based on one main character, Jessica Smith.
They'll probably take place back-to-back, though. With no continuation from the previous one, of course. :D
